seaside views

So much of our time in Maine was spent sea-side walking on rocks, cliffs , sand or exploring the ocean itself. The landscape was so breathtaking and had such a different feel than any of the other beaches we've visited in the past. There are many small islands running along the coast of Maine that are perfectly visible from the shore. Many of the views from the shore consist of inlets and evergreens and islands. Cliffs and tide pools abound. Rocky shores make gradual slopes into the ocean in an almost- panoramic view. Simply amazing.

Here are some of the sights we experienced.

In the next few days I am going to be sharing about the freedom we experienced at the shore and share all of the gorgeous colors we experienced while in Maine.

Oh.. you were in our home state! How delightful. I didn't realize you were visiting nor do I know where you actually live (I haven't followed your blog long enough to figure that out). Isn't Maine grand? I just love it here - ocean, farms, woods, mountains ~ the way life should be ~

It looks like an amazing time at the ocean!
I look forward to hearing about the freedom and colors of Maine... I agree, being at the beach gives you a feeling of being 'alive' of being 'free'!!! : )
