Our family is beginning many new traditions this year as we enter into the richness and fullness of the Eastern Orthodox Church. With so many feast days in the Church, we begin this week with the celebration of Saint Nicholas. Vigil and liturgy to prepare our souls and a festive lunch with friends to celebrate the day. Small gifts for children. Simple foods prepared with love and shared with humble friends. True beauty.
